Individual, Auckland

- A 38 years old, non-smoker, who is very fit and healthy. I love running and am a total gym junkie. I love Les Mills Group fitness exercise classes.

- In 2010 I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, the lump was found accidentally which in the shower, 2 months after I completed the Rotorua marathon and at the time I was training for Auckland Marathon. My treatment for my breast cancer included a partial mastectomy, 15 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and 5 weeks of radiation. Throughout this treatment I kept working and exercising and I even completed a 10k run while on chemo!

- Then in 2016 I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. This was also found out by accident, after I went to see my GP for a bit of bloating in my tummy. My treatment for this cancer included debulking surgery and 6 round of chemotherapy. On completion of my chemotherapy a subsequent CT scan showed no further evidence of the disease. Again I kept working and going to the gym throughout the treatment.

- Then in late 2016 I diagnosed I was with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome "the killer gene"

- Then most recently, in November 2017, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).

- My goal is to make it to 40 and beyond!
