Kia ora, I shaved my head on March 10th 2013 to raise funds for families of people with leukaemia and other blood cancers. My daughter Rebecca died from leukeamia in 1978. This also coincided the the one year anniversary of my best friend, Sigrids death from ovarian cancer. Many cancers are preventable, many are not and I will do anything I can to highlight these issues. Do not live near high tension power lines as these have been proven to cause cancer in babies and teenagers. To lose your child like this leaves unimagineable trauma for the parents. I know, I am one of them.
