It's hard to sit back and watch the crises in Syria go on, without feeling the urge to help.
So I've decided to go to Greece to help/volunteer at a number of refugee camps set up on mainland Greece.
Over the past few months, refugees were arriving on the Islands, but as a result of the EU/Turkey deal, many made their way to the mainland.
The groups I will be helping out have been set up by individuals, and not big NGO's, so our resources are scarce.
I will be arriving on April 12th for an indefinite period ( but no longer than 3 months).
From what I understand there are a lot of young families at the camps...so there is a strong need for nappies, baby food etc, as well as hygiene products, and general needs.
By donating here, you will also be helping the local Greek economy, which we all know is not doing very well.
