Taviya District School is located on the beautifully small island of Ovalau, Fiji. Unfortunately cyclone winston has destroyed all of the schools five classrooms and currently the children have nowhere to continue their important education. Life is tough enough for these children and schooling is nearly their only opportunity of gaining a better standard of living for themselves and for future generations to come.
Personally I have spent 6 of the best months of my life volunteer teaching at this remote school and it breaks my heart that some of the loveliest people I know in this world are missing out on their opportunities for a better life, so the least I could do for them was to set up this page and support the school rebuild.
I will be returing to taviya this upcoming may and it would be absolutely wonderfull if i could return with plenty of support (kindly donated by you generous people) to help rebuild the school for all of the wonderfull people.
