Every year we hold a community event called the Wairoa Māori film festival at several venues across Wairoa including Kahungunu Marae (in Nuhaka) the Gaiety theatre, Taihoa Marae, Whakirangi Marae, Memorial hall and the Māori Tennis clubrooms in Wairoa.
