For the second year, team Gill’s Mob is fundraising for the Cancer Society by participating in the Wellington Relay for life. Last year was our first relay and we raised over $5000 through donations, sponsorship and other activities. We were prompted by the loss of our Gillian in February 2012 aged only 48 years old.
As family and friends of Gillian or others who have battled cancer we were determined and committed to fighting back, reducing the numbers affected by this disease.
Our team is working to raise funds and awareness to support the work of the Cancer Society.
Please support us again as we take turns walking, jogging or running in the 2013 Relay For Life in Wellington at Frank Kitts park from Saturday 23 March 2013 at 4pm to 9am the next morning.
Come along and support us on the day/night and enjoy the activities and entertainment and special events such as the Opening Ceremony and the Candlelight Ceremony where Decorated candle bags are placed around the track.
