Bike Methven needs your help to purchase the Mt Hutt Bike Park
Canterbury
Bike Methven is a community minded not for profit incorporated society administered by voluntary members.
Bike Methven is a sports club which facilitates mountain biking (MTB), BMX and Road cycling opportunities for the Mid Canterbury and wider district.
The Club develops and maintains over 20kms of MTB trails and organises MTB events including club shuttle days, junior introductory racing, womens skill's clinics and National and International race events.
Bike Methven is a typical not for profit NZ sports club, in that we depend on the membership fees of our members and the donations of others.

Use of funds
The fund's raised will go toward the purchase of 208 hectares which the Mt Hutt Bike Park is situated.
$100,000 will be used to go into a community initiated fund for the land purchase
$5000 is needed to pay the Give A Little fee's.

Mt Hutt Bike Park is Unconditional 30 May 2017
Hi everyone, It is with great pleasure that we can announce the good news that this collective community offer to buy your Bike Park has been accepted and we moved into an Unconditional agreement with the current land owners.
We want to thank everyone who has donated on this page, bir or small, it has all come to this end result so thank you.
We want to once again acknowledge Bruce Sim who got the ball rolling in raising local awareness of what the Mt Hutt Bike Park could offer, no only our little town but the larger MTB community altogether.
We have an incredibly strong group of people in the new ownership group and we are really excited about the future of no only the trail network but also the future development of the land the Bike Park is situated.
So, once again, thank you all for your support you've given us a breath of fresh air to get on with the job at hand.
We look forward to seeing you all out riding and enjoying your little piece of paradise.
