A clan tent at a Highland Games requires over one tonne of kit. We need a trailer to safely transport and securely store this kit.
Nationwide
In summary, our case for a trailer is that it will provide the following benefits to the Society:
• Ability to improve and extend our displays to improve their relevance and interest.
• Safety transportation and for secure storage.
• Provide flexibility for storage and transport in Auckland between the Auckland Games and Waipu Games (November and January each year).
• Reduce reliance on a individuals with 4WD vehicles
.
As National Games Convener, it is my role to organise the Society's participation at Highland Games and other evens with a Scottish flavour.
