Get Helen's Hair Shaved!! (To look like Brad Pitt!)

For the last couple of years I have been growing my hair; initially just for the sake of growing long hair and then I thought - why not grow a wig!?

So I have now grown my hair long enough (more than 14 inches/35.5cm) that I can get my hair cut and send it off to Freedom Hair to be made into a wig for people who have suffered hair loss, such as through cancer.

Then my "friend" Colin Hogg offered me $100 to get it all shaved off and I said:

"I'm not doing it for a $100, but if I can get at least $1,000 for a good cause, I'll give it a go!"

A couple more 'friends' said they would give some money and suggested a Give-A-Little page, so here I am!!

So, regret it or not...this is me putting it out there to people to give some money for these amazingly good causes. And I promise I'll shave* my hair if I get a minimum of $1000 in pledges!

I've added $50 to cover the Give-A-Little costs so $1000 goes to charity.

* For all those that want to see the shape of my head, please note I AM NOT going completely bald, but will go to a number 4! Trying not to scare off the 3 little girls we have staying with us in September and I still have to work!

I might not end up looking like Brad Pitt but you get the gist!

If I reach the target there will be a Shave Event for you all to come and cheer me on. It will be on a Monday so my awesome hairdresser Jono (of Lid Hairdressing https://www.facebook.com/LID-Hair-198273990197260/) can do the cutting!
