ABOUT ME

I’m a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Christchurch, New Zealand. I’ve recently released my first track, “Fragile”, and I’m excited that it created a little ripple in music world! “Fragile” has been played on radio here at home and by the BBC in the UK. Now I’m recording new tracks, and with your support I’ll have enough of them for my first EP. I’m inspired by artists such as Chet Faker, Broods and Banks and completely passionate about making music with soul, heart and energy. I really want to connect with my audience.

I’ve always loved music; I play guitar and piano and my singing style is evolving. A journalist from The Press compared my voice to Heather Nova, Bjork and Liz Phair, with a touch of Amy Winehouse.

I’ve already had the opportunity to work with a Grammy award-winning producer on “Fragile” and I’ve been garnering support from key New Zealand music industry supporters, NZ on Air, local radio stations and blogs. However, I need your help to record another two tracks to complete my EP.

BREAKDOWN OF COST

The $10,000 will pay for studio hire, my producer, an engineer and mixing and mastering. Anything left over will support my travel and accommodation costs as we’re recording at the Golden Age studio in Auckland.
