Moore Sisters to Represent NZ, Dancing in Brussels, Belgium

A once in a life time opportunity has been handed to Olivia and Arabella, to taste the international dance world for themselves. Mr Marsa, a Paris Opera Ballet Master, taught them over summer this year, awarding them the opportunity to compete at his International Competition in Brussels. They will be adjudicated by a panel of 12 world renowned ballet masters. Dancing twice on stage and in master classes, over four days. They have been working on their set dances and teachers choice dances already, both girls work incredibly hard to be at the level they are at. They do hours of practice and classes, working hard through, grim determination, and giving up simple pleasures most kids take for granted, like watching tv, sleepovers with friends, and lazy weekends to achieve their goal. They will be representing New Zealand on the European ballet and contemporary dance stage.

The girls (with the help of family and friends) have already raised funds to help them get to Europe. This last $5k is all that is needed to get them there and potentially come back with a life changing opportunity. They are so close.
