Help me move 10 kg to keep healthy for my new son. Pledge per kg, and if 10 kg lost by 6 June, you’ll be supporting a great cause too!

Awaiting the birth of my second child at 42 has made me reflect about the kind of Dad I want to be.
Do I want be swimming alongside him in the parent relay at his school swimming sports (like my Dad did), or sitting on the side looking on? Do I want to stand puffed but exhilarated at the top of a mountain with him on school camp (like my Dad did), or say goodbye in the morning and see him at the end of the week?
I got a shock at Christmas time when I tipped the scales more than I ever had before, and my favourite made-to-measure light blue blazer bulged at the button to breaking point. Continuing on that trajectory might not even see me around for my boy's 21st. It's was time for change and I set about losing 10 kgs on 6 January when I went back to work. I've lost 3.5 kgs to date, but am reaching a plateau and need some help to keep me on track.
Please help me stay motivated, and at the same time help other kiwis in times of crisis. I'm asking people to pledge an amount per kilogram so that I have to get there. 10 kgs makes it easier to calculate!
Life is precious and short and I want it to be the best that it can be, just like the folks at Lifeline believe. They help people back from the brink at their lowest, so they can be around for the people they love too.
All funds raised will be passed directly on to Lifeline Aotearoa
