The purpose of Operation Christmas Child is to show children around the world who are less fortunate than us, that they are loved and appreciated. OCC seeks out to make a difference in the world and touch the lives of many young children.
A few months before Christmas, we meet together and fill shoe boxes with gifts - toys, books, clothes, etc. These boxes are then sent out to different countries across the globe and are delivered to young children who are eagerly waiting.
The money fund raised here will be used entirely to buy Christmas gifts for these children!

Hi Everyone!
On behalf of the club, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Thank you for your support, thank you for believing in us, but most importantly, thank you for helping the children. As a group we have strong vision of what we want to see in the future. We believe in a world where everyone deserves the basic needs for their human rights and by clicking that "pledge" button, we are one step closer to achieving that goal. Children are our future and together we can build a solid foundation for them.
As Ghandi once said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world," and together we are doing just that.
From the team here at OCCVUW, we would like to thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
