Rotaract New Zealand Roundtrip

Hello Friend of Rotaract!

We from the Rotaract clubs of New Zealand are organizing a 'New Zealand Rotaract Roundtrip' in December 2015!

A roundtrip is a group trip lasting 1-2 weeks organized by Rotaractors (community workers/volunteers) of a specific country for the benefit of Rotaractors from other countries. The aim is to improve international relations and fellowship through service and tourist activities in the host country.

Current roundtrips exist in many countries (examples including Canada, Mexico and Germany) and serve as invaluable links for Rotaractors throughout the world.

Each of eight Rotaractors attending a Roundtrip is expected to fund their own flights to and from the country involved, and also fund up to half of the costs of the trip itself. The rest of the trip cost is usually covered by the Rotaract clubs of the host country or their sponsors (like you!)

Our theme for the New Zealand Roundtrip is proposed as 'Random Acts of Kindness'. We propose to perform, record and publicize random acts of kindness for the public while traveling as a group. We will also be including a minimum of two pre-organized service projects as part of this two week trip through the North and South Islands.

As part of this trip, we are currently looking for Rotarians and other good people around the country to help us with ideas and support regards accommodation, activities and $4000 worth of funding.
