Buy the Park in Bureta

Trees and green spaces enrich communities, contributing untold wellbeing on many levels.

This is an attempt to purchase what is left of Bureta Park in Otumoetai, for the enjoyment of present and future generations. A large portion of the land next to the Chapel Street reserve, including 27 mature trees, is due for imminent development by commercial interests. This is our stand to give the land to the public, and add further plantings, preserving a green oasis in suburbia for many years to come.
