Participating in Sustain 2000 Otara Kai Village November Challenge
Dearest family & friends,
For the whole month of November The Otara Kai Village are fundraising to sustain all of the Ōtara community projects to remain in place for another two years so that they can continue to support our residents through what will be a long Covid-19 recovery period. These Projects include:
- The Otara Kai Village
- The Otara Bike Burb
- The Otara Youth Hub
- Community Mara Kai (Garden)
- Pataka Kai
- My Street Movement
- Southside Woke and so much more...
As part of the month long fundraiser, Pati and I have committed to join in as one of many participants that will be taking on the 100km challenge. Starting on Monday 15 November we will have two weeks to complete this challenge with a goal to raise $5050. If we raise more than that even better! We believe these projects play an important part to help our community thrive, and if they were to close down it would be a sad and significant loss for our residents.
So, we have 100 numbers to allocate and if you would like to support us with this challenge then please consider picking a number or numbers 🙂 and all payments can be made here via our give-a-little page.
THANK YOU - for getting behind this kaupapa and to help sustain for the Good of Our Hood.
Sue & Pati Isaia
Help us to sustain all our Ōtara community projects for another two years to support our community during the long covid recovery to come.
