4 generations will complete in a relay team to help this amazing event. Dids Browne will walk a length, her son Tony will swim a couple of lengths, his daughter Kellie will swim 400m then her daughter Luka will swim a length. They will aim to complete this relay as many times as they can. They are doing this for the future generations. The Browne families had a lot to do with the Carterton swimming club and Russel for many years and still now, Dids goes to water aerobics and Kellie’s children are swimming with Russel. Please help them raise money for this essential community project .

Invitation to attend the CENTRAL ITM Big Swim Event Wrap & Presentation 8 April 2024
The Carterton Indoor Pool Project invite you to an evening of connection and celebration.
Please join us at 6pm, on Monday 29 April at the White Swan Country Hotel GREYTOWN to celebrate the community’s achievements and connect with the people who are involved with using the Carterton Indoor Pool.
The CENTRAL ITM Big Swim 10^6 involved over 340 participants, who covered 2,552,083m (including two solo swims across of Lake Taupō), resulting in $52,766.10 dollars donated.
