Many kids in Kolkata live tough lives. Poverty and modern slavery leave little room for joy. Joyride exists to change that—creating spaces where kids can just be kids. They can play, have fun, and experience joy without the burden of being income earners or domestic help.
Funds raised through Joyride go towards equipment, events, education, youth groups, and kids clubs. Thanks to Joyride’s success over the past 4 years, your fundraising now helps even more—supporting the wider community with health clinics, legal services, vocational training, and social opportunities. Adults get to experience joy too!
The best way to raise funds for fun is through fun! In NZ, we host Joyride—where you challenge yourself with a cycling goal and gather sponsors. Or form a team and spark some friendly competition.
Ideas:
Ride a distance you’ve never done before—in a day, week, or month.
Cycle to work in fancy dress for a month to spread joy!
Hide the car keys and cycle everywhere for two weeks.
Let’s ride for joy!
