Kia ora koutou,
There are 900kms of bus routes in Ōtautahi, and I want to ride them all!
Why am I doing this?
Having been to Kolkata myself and seen first hand the impact that extreme poverty has on people and communities, it is crazy to think that those children have not had the same life experiences as I have had. To some families in Khal Par, a Kolkata bus fare (approx NZ20c) would be far more than what they would earn in a day. Your financial support will help the world's communities in most need, so why not support this great initiative! Also, as a side note, I am in dire need of some exercise.
How will I do this?
Simply by getting on my bike* and riding!
*may be entirely human powered or powered by electricity
Where have I been?
Just check updates on this page for details. I may be covering more than one bus route (out of 28) in a day, but rest assured I will be finished by November 28 (hopefully)!
Any other questions?
Just leave a comment on this page.
Aroha mai, aroha atu,

In Kolkata, a lot of kids don’t get to enjoy just being kids. Poverty and modern slavery don’t leave much room for fun or joy in their lives
Thank you so much :)
Thanks so much Ange :)
Ngā mihi nui George :)
Thank you so very much Ernst :)
Indeed, thanks for that. I'm currently on the train from Kirikiriroa to Tāmaki Makaurau so had to do all the routes before I headed north :)
