Vaccination Domination in Hamilton

Given by 24 generous donors in 5 weeks

The local shelter in Hamilton have had quite a few intakes of late who have tested positive for parvo virus.

Waikato

Parvo virus can spread through a shelter environment very quickly, infecting the young, old, and unwell - even if the shelter is kept extremely clean.

A mass vaccination campaign is planned to help vaccinate as many dogs in Hamilton as possible against the virus.

Hamilton City Council is supporting the campaign by running a registration amnesty for any responsible dog owner who vaccinates their pet. The deal will include a favourable rate on dog registration and micro chipping.

HURRAH's involvement (page creator)

HURRAH are one of many rescues who work with the local shelter in Hamilton on the re-homing of their resident animals.

About us

HURRAH is an independent; Auckland based dog rescue charity run solely by volunteers.

Use of funds

In the meantime, we need to find roughly $1350 to purchase 100 vanguard plus 5 parvo virus vaccines.

Can you help us protect the dogs of Hamilton? Each vaccine costs roughly $12, but the benefits are priceless.
