Help us save Niko

Nationwide

Niko is life chained in Auckland.

One of our volunteers has been working closely with him and his family. They have agreed to let us have him desexed & registered, this is a fantastic step that will prevent him being picked up by animal control.

From there we will continue to improve his conditions and encourage his owners to take more interest in him.

In the short time we have been working with Niko he has come a long way, we will not be giving up on this boy!

Thanks for your support.

About us

The Chained Dog Awareness NZ Trust was created in 2001 to inform people of the increasing number of dogs that are permanently chained or locked away and for whom existence is a living hell.

We ensure that someone speaks up for them and we attempt to alleviate their suffering. We ultimately wish to see a total ban on life-chaining in New Zealand.
