16 Year old Daughter hit by car at 70kph getting off school Rural Bus

Hi my name is Hannah, this is my daughter Ruby!...

On May 31st 2017 Ruby was hit by a car on a rural road. She has sustained injuries to her right leg which has a metal rod, left elbow which had a pin in it, a perforated spleen and a head injury. We moved to Masterton after being promoted there for my job. Ruby and I saw as a great new start due to emotional trauma and drama in our life at the time.

However, that one afternoon I four months into living in a town where I barely knew anyone!.. I received the dreadful phone call that my daughter had been in a accident. It nearly made my heart stop! Because of Rubys injuries I had to give up my job to help her and financially we have been put through hell. I don't like to ask for help but it is now been 9 months and I have had to move house and we live out of Palmy but thankfully back closer to friends and family.. I also have crohn's disease which means I cant always look after Ruby to my full capacity.

We are currently in Palmerston North hospital as Ruby needed her 3rd operation and we still have a lot of recovery to go.

Financially travelling and daily costs are becoming very hard especially going from full time work to no work. I get some financial help but anything more I can get to help for Ruby’s future and to help withmedical costs would be so amazing! 😃👌👍

DID YOU KNOW WHILE PASSING A SCHOOL BUS YOU SHOULD TRAVEL 20KPH! HOWEVER THAT IS ONLY IF THE BUS IS STATIONERY... ONCE THE BUS MOVES ITS NOT ILLEGAL FOR THE CAR PASSING TO BE GOING 100KPH THIS HAS TO CHANGE OTHER CHILDREN HAVE DIED!!!
