RDA provides interactions with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or specific challenges.

New Plymouth, Taranaki

A group of enthusiastic riders are participating in our 3-hour relay, to raise funds for their beloved horses who provide them with endless support and joy throughout the year. Every dollar raised will go towards taking care of our horses health care including vet, farrier and feed.

Every stride taken is a step closer to providing the best care possible for their horses, ensuring the horses can continue their important work at the New Plymouth Riding for the Disabled.

About us

We provide therapeutic horse riding for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities.

Use of funds

The money will be used to help keep our horses in the best condition possible so that we can keep providing therapeutic riding to our riders

Thanks a million everyone  5 December 2024

On behalf of our entire team, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for everyone's incredible support and dedication during our 3-Hour Relay on Saturday. Everyone's enthusiasm and generosity, hard work have made an impact on our cause, and we are truly thankful for each and every one of you.

Together we have raised $8500 and an increased awareness in our community.

We want to recognise and appreciate the efforts of each participant, donor and volunteer who contributed their time resources, and energy to make this event a success. Your kindness and compassion have touched the hearts of many and will create an impact.
