We helped 418 cats and kittens in 12 months - now we're aiming to raise $20,000 towards the cost of doing it.

That’s how many cats and kittens Feral Nation has helped in the last 12 months. Even I was a little surprised when I counted them. 😳
We’ve been largely closed to intakes for the last 6 months, so from the outside it might look like things have been a bit quieter around here. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.
So, during October, we’re going to look back at the year that was.
Every day on our socials, I’ll share something from the last 12 months - some of the rescues that stand out, some of the individual cats and kittens we won’t forget, the big rescue missions that added rather a lot of cats to the tally all at once 😅, and some of the cats who are still waiting for their happy ending.
We’ll throw in some numbers and statistics along the way too, because sometimes it’s not until you add everything up that you realise just how much has happened.

Helping 418 cats comes with a pretty hefty price tag. So while I spend October showing you what your support has helped us achieve over the past year, I’m hoping you’ll help us raise $20,000 toward the cost of doing it.
It’s a big target, but then… 418 cats is a pretty big number too.

Feral Nation is a non-profit foster-based cat rescue with HQ in Roseneath, Wellington. We help vulnerable kittens & cats in the wider Wellington region; and, now - we're supporting others to help vulnerable kitties throughout NZ.
Funds raised will go towards vet care and the everyday costs of rescuing and caring for cats and kittens; including desexing, vaccinations, microchipping, medication, food, and other essential supplies.
