Its fatherless day again - every boy needs a dad
For thousands of New Zealand boys, Father’s Day is not a celebration – it’s just another reminder that they have no father in their lives.

Statistics for fatherless boys are heartbreaking. Principal Youth Court Judge Andrew Becroft says “ 83% of youth offenders he sees are male and 70% come from single parent families. Not every solo parent breeds a criminal. Nor am I making judgments about separation. What I’m saying is that most serious young offenders lack a positive male role model.”
About us
We find these boys a male mentor, fostering a long-term relationship, kinda like an uncle. It’s simply a good man turning up into a boy’s life, taking an interest in who he is, modeling positive maleness. The boy’s self-worth will develop; he will do better at school, be less inclined to commit crime. Statistics on mentoring are compelling.
