Giving "HOPE" where there is Hope, there is Life. They need "HOPE" in this tragic uncertain time. PS 42.11 - I will put my Hope in GOD
Bay of Plenty, Tauranga City
n March Pieter immigrated from South Africa to New Zealand without his family on a recruiter's contract to Wellington that fell thru after a few months.
He immediately secured a new work opportunity in Tauranga as a Qualified EWRB Electrician.
His wife and 2 kids joined him this December 2023 ready to start their new life in New Zealand.
Pieter however started to feel unwell and went to see a doctor. After an examination he was send straight to hospital where he was subjected to numerous tests.
His condition was deemed very serious. He presented with an atrial flutter and was diagnosed with Constrictive Pericarditis😒 - The fluid-filled membrane around his heart has calcified and it is restricting the functioning of his heart and causing several problems throughout his body. His heart is under severe strain. He is experiencing arrythmias and requires a pericardiectomy, that involves MAJOR OPEN-HEART SURGERY. The operation will in all probability only be done in three weeks from now.
It is a significant operation, and he will require cardiac monitoring and the management of complications following the surgery.
In summary, Pieter has a severe condition which without intervention would significantly shorten his life. Pieter is medically unfit to work without pericardiectomy (Open-Heart surgery)
We ask for any help to give this family a "Hope" for a future in a new country!
We ask for your prayers! and for God to make a way! ❤
I am a family member and cousin.
More and most of all, if we can help them just by paying their weekly Rent and if left help with any other cost needed until Pieter can be able to go back to work and earn a Salary again! where there is "Hope" there is a will...
