Hi I'm Tracie, I have set this page up for my brother Rick who is currently fighting to keep his 5 yr old daughter in NZ, he needs our help

Auckland

Thank you for taking the time to read! Hello, I'm doing this for my little brother Rick and his beautiful 5 year old daughter. Rick is an awesome guy he has a learning disability similar to Dyslexia though much worse which makes every day simple tasks to you & I are hard for him, even with this disability he never complains he is an incredibly hard worker and an over all great guy. For the past 3 years (and right at this moment) Rick is fighting for his daughter not to be taken over seas to live and to remain here in New Zealand her place of birth with him continuing his current shared custody agreement that his daughter is used to and very happy with.

Rick has taken on huge debts to do so through lawyers, and time off work to attend meeting etc. he needs to attend to fight for his child.

I'm asking for help for him so he can fight this and so he's not crippled with a huge dept after he may never recover from. He has already won the first part of the battle he needs to keep going if he loses he may never see her again, he needs funds to do this as a family we are doing what we can we are a normal Kiwi family doing the best we can in a hard situation, he's an amazing father he works hard at a rubbish tip to fight for his little girl, he was a recipient of the top youth award earned as a teenager recognised for being a outstanding youth coping with a disability. I'm asking people if they could help this dad fight for his daughter to keep her here in New Zealand with him which is the very best out come for his young daughter with all the costs it takes to do so and so he wont be left with a massive dept he may never recover from. Any donations received that are more than the end costings will go into an account for Ricks beautiful daughter for future education because of all this she is currently missing out on this due to allocated funds going toward fees etc. Thank-you for your time and for any assistance x

Tracy W's involvement (page creator)

I'm involved because I love my little brother and my niece very much and I believe 100% they deserve the chance to have a relationship in the same country I also believe (as do my family) if he loses his case he may never see his daughter again, every child needs a daddy in their life especially one who is so dedicated and loving and his daughter absolutely adores her daddy! she also deserves a future here in NZ she's a kiwi kid and the threat of relocating overseas will destroy her chance to live the great kiwi kid experience many of us have been lucky enough to have to achieve this he needs to fight to keep her here.

Rick has always been a good person he has a disability I believe he needs a helping hand just like anyone else who has one, I wouldn't ask if he didn't suffer a disability and he never asks for anything he has always had to work in low paying industries because of his disability and he has always worked and taken great care of his daughter he's a truly amazing dad, I need to help him.
