Amiria’s Brain Surgery Journey
Upper Hutt, Wellington
Amiria is a talented young rugby/league player and an aspiring electrician who has recently faced a life-changing challenge. After experiencing health issues and having to stop work she is now to undergo brain surgery. This unexpected news has been a shock to Amiria and her family, as she is not only passionate about her sport but also dedicated to her apprenticeship. To support her during this difficult time, we are organizing a fundraiser to help cover all her expenses and provide her with the care she needs. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference in Amiria's journey towards recovery. Thank you everyone!
Amiria’s Mum ❤️
Recovery such as physio costs, personal trainer and getting guidance from a nutritionist.
Surgery itself doesn’t cost but Amiria has been out of work for months due to having to clear her sinus in preparation for surgery
Week Four Post Op 3 April 2025
Kia Ora Whanau, we finally got some answers back regarding Amiria’s Surgery and the diagnosis is a Pituitary Adenoma which is a Pituitary Neuroendocrine Tumour 🥺
She has lots more appointments and will be monitored closely as there’s a chance it could come back 🤦🏻♀️
