Amor Brasil - Datamars team comes together to support our colleagues

Amor Brasil is Datamars’ global unity and fundraising campaign for our colleagues severely impacted by historic flooding in southern Brazil.

The southern area of Brazil is recovering from historic flooding which has forced more than 120,000 people from their homes and sadly left many dead or missing.

Thankfully all Datamars Brazil employees are safe, but many have lost their homes and/or contents and are in emergency accommodation. There is significant demand for fresh water and food and other essentials. Three of our team members have also welcomed new babies while in shelter accommodation.

All funds raised will be used by our dedicated crisis team to help these employees and their families rebuild their lives and regain new living arrangements and quality of life after this devastating event. While full details of the loss is still being assessed for our 14 most severely impacted staff, funds will be spent on providing them with goods and services including; furniture, appliances, bedding, clothing, food and water, living arrangements/housing, children’s toys, transportation support.

This campaign is in addition to the Datamars company support, and is in response to requests by staff around the Datamars world who want to personally help.

All staff donations received through this campaign will be matched, dollar for dollar, by Datamars.
