The team at Woolston Boxing Club have had 2 of their athletes Trevor Swainson and Chrissy Reid selected to represent the South Island at The Arafura Games in Darwin 2019 for Amateur Boxing, as well at the Coach Holly Sullivan to be the female chaperon representative for New Zealand. The games are being hosted 26 April 19 – 4th May 2019. (Boxing runs 1-4 May 2019.
Chrissy and Trev both have impressive records and are ready to take their amateur boxing to the next level, by competing on the world stage. Holly has been selected by New Zealand Boxing as the female chaperon for the team.
This is a self-funded trip for us and as a part of that we are looking for help towards attending the event.
Any help that you can provide or give would be amazing whether that be a cash donation or prizes for raffles. In return for this we are happy to talk about how we could promote/thank you individually or your company for any help provided. We have a great network on face-book who love to hear about any donations/sponsorships. Also, we host a tournament annually which can get anywhere between 200-500 spectators visiting. Due to the AIBA guidelines we are unable to print logos onto competition uniform, but happy to look at any other way we can say thanks 😊
Woolston Boxing Club is a charity, whom relies on donations to keep the doors open, all help would be truly appreciated.
