Ash is a 5 year old boy in Rotorua with GDD. His mum Alisa and dad recently adopted an 8 month old pup called Toby. Toby and Ash have become best mates in the short time they’ve had him. Sadly Toby was hit by a car yesterday and requires surgery on his bottom and top jaw. Providing he gets the surgery he will make a full recovery. Ash’s family are facing some challenges too and I would love to help them raise the funds they need to cover the surgery so Ash can have his best mate back.

Toby’s final surgery done and dusted. 28 March 2024
So Toby’s recovery has gone amazingly well. He was booked in for his final surgery today and got the splint off, he must feel so free now!! The vet was very impressed with how his jaw has healed but sadly he had to have one of his bottom canines removed as it had died from all the trauma. Toby has a few stitches where the tooth was extracted and a little bandage on his leg from where the line went in, some antibiotics and pain relief and 1 more check up in 10 days then he will be happy and healthy and able to chase balls and chew things 💜 again. Thank you too everyone who wished him well and supported him your kindness is so appreciated.
