The club has two aging double whitewater kayaks (Eskimo Topo Duo) that have been well loved for many years and may be older than some of our members! A double turns whitewater kayaking into a team sport!
This kayak will provide the opportunity to share the fun and exhilaration of whitewater kayaking with less experienced members before they can roll or navigate the river by themselves. It is also a great way for two good paddlers to share an exciting day on the river.
The Dynamic Duo by Jackson Kayaks opens up a whole new perspective on kayaking and will assist with up-skilling members and showcasing what the club is all about – encourage sustainable and enjoyable participation in whitewater sports.

About us
Auckland Uni Canoe Club is a whitewater club that has been going since the 60s. We are one of the largest clubs on campus with over 250 members. We offer kayaking, rafting, canoeing, (swimming), an active social calendar and the chance to get away from Auckland to enjoy some of the most remote and awesome places in New Zealand.
