Rafts are the workhorses of the club, providing a great way for the club to introduce members to the excitement of whitewater sports. As a university club, we are in a unique position to offer rafting to students who may not be experience it otherwise.
Rafts experience substantial wear and tear through normal river activities. The replacement of beloved “Roxanne”, now 15 years old and showing her age, was identified as a priority for this year.

About us
Auckland Uni Canoe Club is a whitewater club that has been going since the 60s. We are one of the largest clubs on campus with over 250 members. We offer kayaking, rafting, canoeing, (swimming), an active social calendar and the chance to get away from Auckland to enjoy some of the most remote and awesome places in New Zealand.
