Baby Blu's fight to survive

Sorry it's taken me a while for an update.....

Unfortunately Baby Blu passed away on 24/11/14 Doctors had given him weeks to a month to live but our baby boy managed to be here with us and keep fighting for a whole month and a half - he was diagnosed at 4 months and died at 6 months 1 day.... it's been a rough few weeks for my family and I but we are slowly getting there. On Saturday 22nd Nov. 14 my partner and I decided that because our son didn't have long to live we were going to get married. So, when he was discharged from Whangarei Hospital the week before we didn't have long to plan our big day. It was hard and money was tight but with the awesome love and support we received from our family and friends we made it happen and it was more than we could have ever asked for. We married at Rainbow Falls on the 22nd, our house was robbed that same night then we lost our boy on Monday 24th Nov. Its not anything I would wish upon anyone in this world to experience.

Now that our son has left us any funds raised will be put towards his funeral costs and anything left my husband and I will donate to the Ronald McDonald House to show our thanks for them looking after us while we were in Starship Children's Hospital...
