It’s about buying an old banger (car) for under $2000 and driving it over 12 days with a group of like-minded adventurers from Auckland to Bluff, to raise money for charity.

Start date is Tuesday the 10th April in Auckland and finish in Bluff/Invercargill on Sunday 22nd April 2018 where the "bangers" are auctioned off.

The group is limited to 15 “bangers” and is a fundraiser run by the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay (Inc).

The route is “Roads less travelled”. The bangers have lots of support!!

Fruehauf NZ are a major sponsor of the event and will be providing a support vehicle to accompany the "Fleet"

The Half Moon Bay Rotary Club will provide crew for the Fruehauf support vehicle for the whole trip.

At the conclusion in Invercargill, all vehicles will be auctioned off by William Todd and Co (2011) Ltd with all proceeds going to Charity.
