Support Ben Ramsey's recovery and rehabilitation.

My 31 year old nephew Ben Ramsey has had a major medical event (blood clot on the brain) whilst working in Western Australia and is in a serious condition in a Perth hospital - a long way from his NZ home where he travels from every 8 weeks to work driving mine trucks near Port Hedland. His recovery is likely to take some time and his mother, Petra, has travelled to Perth to support him through this difficult time. We will also need to get him home to NZ once it is medically safe enough for him to fly. All of this will be a costly exercise and any support would be very much appreciated.

Ben has made great progress 11 November 2022
Hi everyone,
Ben has made very good progress in his recovery and has been discharged from hospital, cleared to fly and will be home in NZ this weekend. A huge thankyou to all of you for your very generous contributions and best wishes - this has been immensely valuable in his recovery and the contributions have allowed him to have Petra in WA to support him and also to get him home to NZ to continue his recovery. Therefore this contribution page is being closed off this weekend 12/11/22. Many thanks!
