Help support Ben and his family in their Brave Bald Battle against Cancer!
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
At 37, living a full, fit, and healthy lifestyle, Ben has been diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer.
Surgery & chemo looked likely to be a way forward in healing, but Ben was dealt another blow with a diagnosis of further Cancer in his L4 vertebra, his right hip & his right rib.
Ben is going at it! On one of the harshest of chemo rounds available, and early indications are positive, with possible treatments after chemo include non-funded medications.
Ben is a loving family man. A husband (and sometimes pain n the ass) to Lauren, and super dad to young Arlo.
Ben is a self-employed personal trainer extraordinaire owning and running BAMFIT, dedicating himself to helping others to improve their own way of life.
To concentrate on his health and family, Ben had to make a tough call to step back from his business, reducing his income, to put all his energy into this fight.
We all know Ben is quick to offer help when he sees its needed.
Now it is our turn to help Ben, Lauren and Arlo!
How? Many of us that attend BAMFIT have set ourselves challenges, some of which include shaving their heads, shaving their beards!, daring cuts, give it up for a month, and we wouldn’t be the BAMFAM without a sweat option, encouraging each other to set a health goal - running, walking, weight loss, healthy eating.
With our individual challenges we are asking for your support in our support of Ben, Lauren and Arlo!
Please donate what you can, every dollar will help.
Thank you from Bens family & friends.
We are Ben's BAMFAM (BAMFIT members)
Supporting Ben and his family with everyday expenses, medial expenses not covered by the public health system, exploration of possible non Pharmac funded treatments like Immunotherapy, and helping to create family memories together.
