Urgent oncologist appointment 11/08/25. Cardiographer confirmed Cancer on her big beautiful heart

As a lot of you know, Coco Deenie is a robust, loving ray of sunshine.

Unfortunately on Tuesday 5th August, we found Coco in a collapsed state, cold and struggling to breathe- she was unable to walk and was carried to the car and rushed to the vet. On arrival it was determined that her vitals were not good and she was worked on by a team of 6 who managed to stabilise her during an excruciating 90 minutes & drain the fluid from around her heart.

Coco was subsequently admitted to Emergency/After hours for monitoring and further testing, the source of the fluid around her heart is yet to be determined, but it was discovered that she has an arrhythmia, was on the tail end of pancreatitis, slightly anaemic.

I had a $3000 rainy day fund aside for her, which unfortunately was almost all used up in the vet GP & subsequent overnight emergency stay.

I’m a hard working contractor in the early stages of a budding business that I’m immensely optimistic about.

This has blindsided me, she is 9.5 years old, I believe Deenie has a lot more high quality life, with the right diagnosis and medication, I have lovingly high hopes for her.
