Help us bring Bella home

Bella is 20 years old and was diagnosed with crohns disease 2 years ago. She started suffering with what was thought to be arthritis, a complication of crohns 6 months ago.
Unfortunately, this was not the case. Bella has an inoperable tumour in her brain and the joint pain is due to cancer having metastasised into her bones. The cancer weakened two vertebrae in her back which have fractured, weakened a bone in her shoulder and it is fractured. There is also cancer in her ribs and pelvis.
Bella is currently overseas, having headed travelling on her OE and we want to bring her home for what is left of her life. Her dearest wish is to see her brother and sister again.

Our goal is to bring hope to those in need – it’s our underlying mission and drive at Te Whare Awhero (Hope House).
We have worked as a charity in Hornby for more than 30 years providing counselling, community support and school-based support services
Use of funds
Fundraising for the costs required to bring Bella back to NZ, and to support the family as they face a load of unexpected bills, flights, general life expenses while they care for Bella.
