🌟 Help Us Create a South Auckland Neurodiversity Support Hub!

Together, we can make it easier for neurodivergent children and their families to access the care they need & deserve.

At Acorn Neurodiversity, we believe every child deserves support that sees them, celebrates them, and helps them thrive. Every week, we meet families in South Auckland who are doing everything they can for their tamariki. Too often, huge barriers to timely, specialist care leave families exhausted, overwhelmed, and without the help they urgently need.

We can change that - but we can’t do it alone.

🧡 What the Hub Will Offer

A warm, family-centred space where children and their caregivers can access culturally responsive, strengths-based care - a place where families feel understood, supported, and empowered.

💛 How Your Donation Helps

Every donation goes directly toward supporting neurodivergent children and families in South Auckland. Your generosity creates access. It creates opportunities. And it creates hope.

🧡 Why This Matters

Early, specialist support can change the whole trajectory of a child’s life. It builds confidence, reduces stress, strengthens whānau, and opens doors to learning, connection, and belonging.

By supporting this hub, you’re making sure every child gets the chance to thrive as who they are.

💛 A Community Effort

This hub will grow because people like you believe every child deserves support - not someday, but now.

Thank you for standing with us.

Your Support Is Already Opening Doors in South Auckland  3 May 2026

Over the past three months, your support has helped us take meaningful steps toward a South Auckland Neurodiversity Support Hub.

We’re already seeing the impact. Acorn Neurodiversity has begun collaborating with Barnardos to support early learning services in Manurewa, helping educators better understand and respond to the needs of neurodivergent tamariki. This work means more children can be seen, supported, and celebrated in the places where they learn and grow every day.

We’ve also been providing neuro-affirming training to educators across Auckland, sharing practical tools that help create calmer, more inclusive, and more supportive learning environments.

Every conversation, training session, and partnership is helping build a stronger community around neurodivergent children and their whānau.

Your generosity is making this possible. Thank you for believing that South Auckland families deserve timely, specialist, strengths-based support.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
