People who are dying in our care are located in all areas of the wider West Auckland community. People tell us they want to die at home, cared for by their loved ones and surrounded by their family.
To ensure that people can be cared for in their own home and be as pain free as possible, a pain pump is provided to enable the administration of medication when medicines given by other methods are no longer effective.
About us
Hospice West Auckland provides holistic services and support at no cost for people and their whanau in West Auckland with a life-limiting illness. We believe that every person deserves access to palliative care irrespective of their place of death.
