Cat Zoe was 6 months lost and was found in a very heartbreaking condition

Zoe is a very lovely cat. My son and I love her dearly and it was very hard when we had to rehome her as we moved and couldn't take her to the new place. She had been living with a friend but she escaped and all searching was showing no success. 6 months later Zoe was found in a very bad condition. She had a deep flesh wound and it was badly infected. It was unbelievable that she got found after that long time and heartbreaking to see her in such bad condition. My son shed tears of joy when we found her. She had a complex injury and was just skin and bones. We tried for a month to heal it by taking her twice a week to the vet for a clean up and she was on antibiotics, inflammatories and painkillers. Unfortunately, the wound was very difficult and she needed an operation with skin transplantation. When the vet called me, I was left with only two options and I didn't hesitate to make a decision. Zoe is now a bit more stable, recovering well, and hopefully won't require any further operations. She has gained some weight and appears to be content knowing she is safe. We are grateful that some of her nine lives have been spared.

My credit card is now maxed out and I would be grateful if some fellow cat lovers could offer their help. As a single mother, the cost of treatment and aftercare for my cat has been a huge burden, especially with Christmas and the holidays approaching. If I can receive even a little support from many of you, it would help me get back on track.
