Central Otago St John Annual Appeal- Please donate today.
Queenstown, Otago
From 4-10 April, the St John Heart of Gold Annual Appeal kicks off around Aotearoa New Zealand.
Due to the impact of the Omicron outbreak, St John has made the unfortunate decision to cancel its nationwide street collections and other face-to-face community fundraising activities.
It’s simple – we need your support so that we can continue to offer our support. People recognise us for our ambulance service, which treats and transports over 488,073 people every year, but your contribution allows us to provide so much more.
Here in Central Otago we run many community programs and support lots of great community focused initiatives. It’s your generosity that helps us teach young people first aid, health care and leadership skills through our Youth programme so that they can feel confident and safe.
It’s your contribution that allows us to fuel our Health Shuttles, support our volunteers who comfort friends and family in hospitals and enable people to receive regular phone calls from our Caring Caller teams.
Our Therapy Pet teams support our children in schools and in the libraries by providing a fury friend to read to.
We are a charity, and the important work we do is only made possible with your support which we are extremely grateful for – thank you!
St John is at the frontline of medical response, providing Ambulance Services throughout New Zealand, as well as first aid training, event medical services, AEDs (defibrillators), first aid kits and supplies, medical alarms, youth groups and much more.
The funds will be used to support us to be able to continue to provide the services we do to our local community.
