Support St John Queenstown and the Tara Trust at this year's Queenstown Annual Hurling Event
Otago, Queenstown Lakes District
The third of Queenstown's annual hurling charity match hosted by Queenstown Band of Brothers is set to unfold on Saturday 28th January at the Queenstown Recreation grounds against the Christchurch GAA team.
What can only be described as the biggest game of the year held here in Queenstown!!
Alongside this event will be 'The Full 32 Counties' event, a gathering of representatives from all counties of Ireland which will be held in Queenstown in January supported by the Tara Trust Friends of Ireland NZ. The Tara Trust exists to support the Irish Community in New Zealand through its support of Irish arts, culture and the welfare of the Irish diaspora and is a registered charity ☘️❤️
Alongside raising funds for the Tara Trust this event will also be raising funds for St John Wakatipu. St John is at the frontline of medical response, providing Ambulance Services throughout New Zealand, as well as first aid training, event medical services, AEDs (defibrillators), first aid kits and supplies, medical alarms, youth groups and much more.
Our teams will be playing for the Lindis Pass trophy- currently being held by our Queenstown team!
A huge thank you to all the business that have got on board to support this awesome community!
Cash donations welcome on the day
So save the date and we will see you there 🇮🇪🚑
