Chimney Fire Destroys Home of Local Family of Five

$3,980 donated
Given by 40 generous donors in 26 days

Fire destroys uninsured home of local family of 5.

Coopers Beach, Northland

A valued member of our Bowling Club (James O'Neil) and his young family recently lost everything in a devastating house fire. Grateful that no one was hurt, this young family of five now faces the daunting task of starting over from scratch, as they were unable to afford insurance.

While the few who know about this tragedy have been incredibly generous with donations of household goods, the most pressing need now is financial support to help them rebuild their lives.

Though they’ve been provided with temporary furnished housing, they only have a few months before they’ll need to find a more permanent arrangement.

As you can imagine, like most children, the kids long for their own toys, bikes, and clothes, while the parents simply want to provide for their family as they process their loss and begin to piece their lives back together.

The road to rebuilding a home will be long and challenging, but the immediate focus is on restoring a sense of normalcy and stability for this young family of limited means.

Any donation, no matter the size, will make a world of difference. Your generosity will help them take the first steps toward a new beginning so they can put this behind them and start afresh.
