Help us host a volleyball tournament in memory of the Christchurch attacks. We're expecting 300 players and we need your help!

We're organising a refugee men's volleyball tournament in memory of the Christchurch attacks - and we need your help!
The idea for the tournament came from our Muslim team members, who are keen to create an event that brings people together through a shared passion for sport. So far, nearly 300 people are expected to participate - including teams from Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North, Hamilton...and our own Auckland teams!
Funds raised through this page will cover the cost of hiring the venue, providing lunches and refreshments for players, as well as trophies for prize-giving on the final night.
The tournament is this weekend, which we realise is very short notice, but attendance has ballooned and we need your help in order to keep up! Team members are paying up-front out of their own pockets and funds raised by this page will be used to reimburse them.
Anything you can give will be hugely appreciated!
RASNZ is Aotearoa's leading provider of mental health and wellbeing support for people from refugee and asylum-seeker backgrounds. Our clinical and community-based services are focused on helping former refugees thrive as kiwis.
Funds raised by this campaign will cover the cost of the tournament venue, food and prize-giving trophies. Any additional funds will be put towards uniforms for the RASNZ men's volleyball team.
