Provide Clarice with relief as she is cared for by her family and battles with cancer
Christchurch, Canterbury
Clarice is known by friends and family for her warmth and wholehearted generosity that is available to everyone she meets. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer over 12 years ago, she responded with a holistic approach, and has undertaken a wide range of therapies and treatments. She has put her cancer into remission twice; she has always sought a healthy way of living and has a deep love and care for all of humanity.
Clarice’s cancer has returned and is now in the soft tissue in her neck. She has just had surgery to make space in her trachea to help with breathing and eating as the cancer is tight and putting pressure around her neck and throat. It has made smiling difficult for her. Clarice will be receiving chemotherapy over the next few weeks to ease the symptoms. She is asking for donations to help with the cost of treatments and natural therapies.
Clarice is a well-respected nutritionist, and until she was hospitalised was working. Her husband, Ross is supporting her closely and to deal with the additional costs of treatment and care for her, they are seeking donations. Any donations are wholly appreciated.
Clarice’s family hope to join her from overseas in Christchurch in the next few months; to spend some time with her. Clarice has a beauty that she gives so freely; in her smile, a love of nature, good food, music and dancing. While the surgery on her throat has made speaking difficult, she is very thankful for any support.
Thank you from her loved ones.
I am a close life long friend of the beneficiary.
Any donations will primarily be used for ongoing energy healing treatments and to supplement living costs.
Clarice is improving every day! 15 November 2022
Update from Ross: Her voice has not fully returned, however we have found a speech therapist who will help Clarice with voice. She has returned to swimming in the sea almost every day.
She rarely wears her wig and is rocking the cap and hoody look.
She continues with Vitamin C infusions which are great. Energy levels are slowly improving with some days where she is happy to walk to the beach and then swim and walk back and she is enjoying Delia's visit.
