Community Support

Yesterday’s events left a number of Tauranga residents and holidaymakers stranded, displaced, or facing sudden hardship. For some, access to accommodation, food, transport, or basic necessities has been disrupted with little warning.

This Givealittle page has been created to enable the wider community to provide immediate, practical assistance to those most affected. Funds raised will be used to help meet urgent needs such as short-term accommodation, essential supplies, transport assistance, and other forms of immediate relief as needs are identified.

Where possible, assistance will be coordinated with relevant community organisations and agencies to ensure support reaches those who need it most and is distributed fairly and transparently.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide dignity, safety, and practical relief during a difficult time. Community support can make a real difference for people facing unexpected disruption and hardship.
