Whilst RadioActive receives core funding from NZ On Air in recognition of the vital role we play in supporting New Zealand musicians, particularly emerging artists, those funds together with sponsorship and advertising revenue are not quite enough to allow us to cover all our operating expenses and invest properly in Radio Active's future.
About us
The Radio Active Charitable Trust was established to run Radio Active a non profit community radio station in Wellington.
Radio Active has been broadcasting for 40 years and champions emerging New Zealand music artists.
Use of funds
The funds will go to cover the shortfall in our operating income and to provide for upgrades in our broadcasting equipment
