Crystal the Greyhound suffered terrible injuries when she was attacked by another dog.

I was walking Crystal on a lead last Saturday when she was attacked by another dog resulting in severe injuries. Her injuries include ripped gums in her mouth, severed muscles on her left front leg that required reconstruction. Degloving of her entire chest and multiple bites to sides and shoulders.

To date she has had five hours of surgery and has on going visits to the vet to get her wounds debrided and dressings changed. She is also taking strong antibiotics and pain relief to fight the infection from these wounds. Due to these injuries she has the prospect of more surgery and potential skin grafting to come.

Our vet has said her recovery will be a long process. If anyone was to contribute, the money would go toward her vet bills.
